Another option that can be taken into consideration is that of giving the students awareness classes right at the beginning of term so that they would be more likely to stay aware of their surroundings and would also be able to notice changes and circumstances that take place around them so that they would secure themselves. Women in particular should be given rape awareness classes with the aim to instruct the campus community, women in particular about the prevention of sexual assault and to come up with ways by which a safer environment could be created for the betterment of the students. These classes should also teach the methods by which victims of sexual assault can be educated, aided and counseled.

These two steps should somehow bring down the level of crimes as more security officers would mean more people around the criminal which would make it harder for him to find a way to commit his or her heinous acts and the classes would give the students the ability to identify the occurring of such a crime.

In the light of the above discussion we can hereby culminate that crime son the campus are on a slight but definite rise and it is a problem that needs to be dealt with in a professional manner. The best way perhaps is to increase the number of security forces on campus and to provide the students with a mandatory awareness class so as to raise their awareness of this problem and that it would help them identify the occurring of crimes.
